Spin Club is a performance activity that combines dance skills with flag twirling to create a fun, unique and exciting performance outlet for students! Sponsor: Mr. Freed Email Instructor: Joe Paul Email
How Does it Work?
Spin Club is part of the Instrumental Music Program and is under the supervision of Mr. Freed. Instruction is provided by staff members from Thousand Oaks High School.
Students will meet on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30-4:45. The first meeting this year is on Tuesday February 13 in the Band Room (Room 20)
During the course of the program, students will learn skills that we will combine into a routine they can perform. We're hoping to find several performance opportuniies for the team (maybe for the Los Cerritos Student Body)
What Do I Need?
Mostly, a positive attitude and a willingness to try new things. All students are welcome and you need no previous experience..
Students should wear athletic-type clothing that allows flexibility of moment. (Clothing should fit appropriately and should not be overly large or loose fitting. This can get in the way of things you'll be asked to do.
Equipment will be provided and members will get a team t-shirt.
How Do I Start?
Just show up. If you can't make it to the first meeting, that's OK. Just let us know. If you can have questions, please ask Mr. Freed or Joe Paul
